Senior Provincial Championships 2013
This year's event held June 1 - 9 at the
Jericho Tennis Club
with 312 players competing in 36 categories.
Photo 1 : Ken Dahl ousted George Lea, 7-5, 6-3, for the Men's
65 Singles title. This was George first tournament after a long break!

Photo 2: Allan Lawry, the surprise winner of the Men's 60 Singles.
Allan outlasted top-seeded Steve Yesowick, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4, in the final.
Allen later teamed up with Steve to beat Greg Harrop and John Harvey, 6-4
6-4, in the Men's 60 Doubles final.
Photo 3: Third-seeded Colleen Ostlund lost in the
Women's 50 Singles semis to the top-seeded Meryl Ogden, 6-1, 7-6.

Photo 5: Tim Shoveller had a good run in the Men's 50
Singles. Tim stunned top-seeded
Stephen Kimoff in the semis, 7-6, 6-7, 7-6,
in an epic match which lasted over three hours. However, Tim lost in the final to
un-seeded Murray Bennetto, 6-2, 6-1.

Cameron, 6-1, 6-3 in the Women's 55 Singles final.

Max won the Men's 40 Singles and the Men's 35 Doubles with his partner,
Manuel Calvo. Manuel also won the Men's 35 Singles by beating
Gabriel Davis, 6-1, 6-1, in the final.
Photo 9: The Macken brothers, Patrick and Tony.
They beat Stephen Kimoff and Murray Bennetto to win the
Men's 50 Doubles. Patrick eliminated the second-seeded Bob Exell in the
second round of the singles and went on to take the third place in the
Men's 50 Singles.
Photo 10: Kateryna Filyus took the Women's 40 Singles crown
by beating Margit Aardmaa, 6-0, 6-4, in the final.
