Gllangcolme Mixed DoublesTennis Festival 2007 Langford Tennis Club hosted their annual Mixed Doubles tournament at Royal Roads University, Victoria, June 21–24.
Peter and Damaris Brix, above defeated Sue Grandmaison and Bill Majercsik
to win the title.
The tournament had a wet start on the opening round and moved indoor to 2 courts at Oak Bay and 4 at Panorama.
There was no tennis on Friday as they had the annual social dinner / fashion show and dance with the live band 'Little by Little' at the Royal Colwood. That went off very well too with funds raised for the Vancouver Island tennis junior development programs. Saturday was a full day of tennis with a wind down in the evening wine and cheese and social with keyboard Steve providing the participants with wonderful music. Sunday was the semis and finals with great matches for all to watch. Here are the final results:
